Welcome to Pedios Pediatrics!
Looking for a compassionate, family-centered pediatrician in the Oak Park area? You’ve come to the right place. For over 50 years, Pedios Pediatrics has specialized in medical care for children—from newborns to teens. We are deeply committed to helping every child reach their fullest potential by partnering with parents to support both physical and emotional well-being.
We believe that knowledge, accessibility, and a supportive environment are the cornerstones of exceptional pediatric care. That’s why we offer:
- Same-day sick visits every day
- A dedicated morning phone-in hour (7–8am Mon–Sat, 8:30-9am Sun and holidays) for non-urgent questions answered directly by our physicians—free of charge
- After-hours physician availability for urgent concerns—importantly staffed by our own doctors so you are talking to someone who knows your child
From prenatal consults and routine well-child visits to treatment of acute illnesses and chronic conditions, our care is coordinated and comprehensive. We have fully integrated electronic medical records with Lurie Children’s Hospital, ensuring seamless care when specialty services are needed. We can access records at all of the major hospitals in the area.
If you're new to the area or to our practice and already have children, we invite you to schedule a complimentary “Meet the Doctor” visit. This is a great opportunity to get to know our office, ask any questions you may have, and meet one of our physicians in a relaxed, no-obligation setting.
Take a few moments to explore our website and learn more about how we can support your family’s health—every step of the way!

Prenatal Consults
Expecting a baby? At Pedios Pediatrics, we offer a complimentary prenatal consultation to give you the chance to meet one of our pediatricians, tour our office, get to know our team, and ask any questions you may have before your baby arrives. During this visit, we’ll explain what to expect during your baby’s first appointments and throughout the first year. We'll also review our approach to well visits and sick visits, discuss our immunization policy, and go over how to schedule appointments and contact us—both during office hours and after hours. This is a great opportunity to get comfortable with our practice and begin building a relationship with your child’s healthcare team.
Immunization Policy
At Pedios Pediatrics, we strongly believe in the safety, effectiveness, and importance of vaccines in protecting children's health. Vaccines are one of the most powerful tools we have to prevent serious illnesses in children and young adults.
Our practice recommends following the immunization schedule of the American Academy of Pediatrics and requires that all patients stay up-to-date with school-required vaccines. Families who are unable to comply with these guidelines will unfortunately be excluded from our practice, as we are committed to maintaining a safe environment for all children. We require all infants to begin vaccines by 4 months of age, continue to make progress through regular well/vaccine visits, and be fully up-to-date by age 2 to ensure proper protection during early childhood.
We are always happy to take the time to discuss any questions or concerns you may have about vaccines.

We participate with many major insurance plans; however, because coverage can change frequently, we recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to confirm that our office is in-network. Call us if you have any questions.
